Public health flashmob

//
flashmob

Last week, the tables were turned on teachers and learners. Health Policy and Management BSPH student Savan Kothadia (who just made Phi Beta Kappa, by the way) and Vivek Mahajan, from the School of Pharmacy, taught a group of exuberant faculty and staff some great dance moves to Indian music. The result: our Atrium became a global dance floor as a public health flashmob suddenly appeared and took over. The music was great, the “teachers” fabulous, and the “learners” pretty amazing. They showed that while much of the work of public health is about life and death, the School also can be a place of joy and occasional abandon. Thanks to Tom Laney and OJ McGhee who shot and edited the video and other who made this possible, including the Communications Department. Thanks to all the faculty and staff who participated. You were fabulous!

Happy Monday. Barbara
